INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

International protection of a design can be acquired in all states members of the Hague Agreement (over 80 contracting parties) by filing a single international design application under the Hague Agreement with the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) using a unified, simplified and accessible procedure.

The international industrial design registration gives its proprietor the same rights in a particular member state as a national industrial design registration in the mere country will give. Therefore the international design registration is equivalent to multiple national design registrations.

IRIN PATENT will assist you with everything you are interested in regarding the registration of an international industrial design under the Hague Agreement.
